Position Details
This is a contingent position pending contract award.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine, urgent, and emergency medical care.
* Triages patients and provides medical advice within scope of practice.
* Monitor vital signs, perform EKGs, draw blood, and collect urine samples.
* Manage medical reports and correspondence.
* Respond to emergencies as needed.
* Maintain clinic cleanliness and sterilization standards.
* Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Must be a US or Australian citizen.
* Possess a valid nursing license in Australia.
* Minimum of three years' experience as a registered/licensed nurse.
* BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
* Proficient in professional nursing principles and procedures.
* Ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Knowledge of laboratory procedures and sample collection.
* Current CPR certification.
Location
Position based in Alice Springs at a large, 4,400-acre facility. This role requires onsite presence 100% of the time.
