This role is critical for overseeing procurement activities related to blue collar labour services.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimise procurement strategies for major categories such as maintenance and civil works.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand service requirements and deliver procurement solutions that meet operational needs.
Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements.
Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in category management, specifically within maintenance and services, with a focus on blue-collar sectors.
Solid knowledge of maintenance and civil works procurement.
Ability to engage and negotiate effectively with stakeholders and suppliers.
Commercial awareness with a keen eye for identifying opportunities for value improvement.
A results-driven approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Relevant tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
