Repair Loop Technician
The role of a Repair Loop Technician is multifaceted and requires expertise in inspecting, testing, and repairing Reverse Vending Machine hardware. This includes printers, power supplies, motors, LCDs, and touch screens.
Responsibilities include:
* Inspecting and testing parts received for repair
* Implementing repair procedures and recording success/failure rates
* Analyzing and reporting on data gathered from returned parts
* Maintaining a clean, well-organized, and ESD-controlled workplace
* Delivering training to local technicians on correct handling, fault finding, and possible field repair options
* Suggesting and implementing performance-improving actions across the RVM portfolio
* Testing repair parts according to internal quality standards
Qualifications for this role include:
* Proven experience in electronics repair
* Previous hands-on or field experience
* Certificate III level qualification in an electronics trade or higher education qualification that relates directly to the work carried out
* Disconnect-Reconnect Certificate preferred
* Interest in emerging technology and environmentalism
* Strong ability to communicate clearly
* Prioritized approach to safety
