Job Title: Emergency Medicine Specialist
Available for immediate start, we are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to provide medical cover in a dynamic public hospital. The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide emergency medical services to patients with acute conditions.
* Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
* Perform a range of clinical procedures, including suturing, casting, and administering medications.
* Work effectively as part of a high-pressure team, maintaining calm and composure under challenging circumstances.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
* Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
* Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
* Demonstrated expertise in emergency medicine, including resuscitation techniques, trauma management, and critical care.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
