About the role
We are seeking a motivated Tax and Business Services Accountant - Supervisor / Assistant Manager with at least five year's public practice experience to join our growing team. This role will give you exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients across industries and the opportunity to develop your technical skills and career progression in a collaborative environment.
What you'll be doing
Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS and FBT returns for a range of entities (individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and self managed superannuation funds)
Mentor and support junior team members, ensuring high quality work and supporting their technical and professional growth
Provide strategic tax planning and business advisory support to clients
Conducting tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant legislation
