Job Description
The Construction Project Manager oversees the lifecycle of construction projects across various portfolios, coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery. This involves managing financial positions, including cost reporting and forecasting.
* Coordinate and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
* Liaise with stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and shopfitters.
* Manage project finances, overseeing cost reporting, forecasting, and variations.
* Oversee construction activities, attend meetings, finalize contracts, and arrange agreements between parties.
* Ensure site safety and resolve on-site issues for appointed contractors.
* Complete timely project closeouts, conduct built quality inspections, and manage financial matters.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in end-to-end Construction Project Management.
* Strong understanding of construction management principles and methodologies.
* Qualifications in Construction Management or a related trade background are advantageous.
* Flexibility to travel to regional locations for site meetings and inspections.
* Construction industry white card and driver's license.
* Experience in retail supermarket environments or quick service retail is desirable.
* Financial Management experience, particularly with SAP or similar systems, is desired.
