sits within the Consumer line of business, as part of the Marketplaces Tribe and is Australia’s leading share accommodation platform. At we want to provide our community with the advice, inspiration, hot data insights and know-how to make their share house shine as well as helping our members find their next home or their next flatmate to move in. Shared accommodation is the collection of different demographics, people, homes, relationships, building styles, suburbs and pre-loved furniture that all can be found behind the front door of a share house.
What the role is all about
4. Designing, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining high quality mobile application that meet the needs of our users.
5. Keeping our production application stable and healthy.
6. Performing code reviews.
7. Providing technical mentoring and guidance to less experienced members of the team.
8. Contributing to technical design & discussions.
9. Engaging with the wider native mobile community across the organisation, identifying opportunities to share and learn.
10. An appreciation of software engineering principles and a can-do attitude with an ability to own problems and see things through.
Who we’re looking for
11. Demonstrated experience in building iOS apps using Swift (Kotlin is a plus)
12. Demonstrated experience with Declarative UI on iOS using SwiftUI
13. A passion for iOS and an intrigue in Android
14. Sound knowledge of software design patterns and best practices for software development
15. Demonstrated experience using common testing practices
16. Demonstrated understanding of common mobile application architectures
17. Active contribution to technical decision-making process
18. Looks at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens
