About the Role

We're seeking to employ an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Design Drafter to join our Engineering Services team in Kwinana, WA on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete EI&C design deliverables to an appropriate professional standard meeting applicable regulatory requirements and engineering standards
• Ensuring that EI&C asset drawings are up-to-date and maintained to an appropriate professional standard
• Undertake and assist as appropriate in technical and feasibility studies, designs, calculations, and analysis
• Actively contribute to EI&C design and document reviews
• Collaborate and contribute to the maintenance and development of EI&C standards, specifications, and procedures

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• A formally recognised qualification in electrical technology, engineering or design or an electrical and instrument trade qualification
• At least 3 years relevant design experience
• Excellent computer skills, including a high level of proficiency in the use of computer aided design tools, in particular AutoCAD and PowerCAD. A proficiency in EPLAN is highly desirable, but not essential
• A strong working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000, electrical single line drawings, electrical schematics, loop drawings, and P&IDs
• A working knowledge of the design, selection and installation of electrical equipment in hazardous areas per the requirements of AS/NZS 60079
