Personal Care Professional
Right at Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Professional to provide exceptional in-home care and support to clients across Western Australia. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality care that prioritizes the well-being and dignity of each client.
About the Role:
* Provide personal care and assist with daily activities, following the Client Care Plan.
* Work closely with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, mobility, and more.
* Identify client care needs and work collaboratively with the client's care team to ensure high-quality, holistic care.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members.
* Support clients with light housekeeping duties to promote independence, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
Requirements:
* Cert III in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent).
* Current Senior First Aid [HLTAID011], CPR [HLTAID009] and Manual Handling [HLTWHS005].
* A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver's licence.
* NDIS Screening (or willingness to get).
* Strong expertise in mental health care.
* Willingness to travel and flexibility with shifts.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for elderly clients.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for home care.
* Commitment to safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.
