* Remuneration: $34.47 to $35.54 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options
About the role
The Administration Officer will be part of the Radiation Oncology New Patient Team. This role is responsible for managing incoming referrals, registering new patients, coordinating and scheduling appointments, and assisting the wider team as directed by the Admin Team Lead to deliver a timely and high-quality service.
Responsibilities
* Provide administration and customer service as part of the Radiation Oncology Administration Team, including frontline reception duties, referral management, and booking new patient and treatment review appointments.
* Demonstrate flexibility and commitment to various tasks to enable efficient rostering and meet department administration service needs.
* Take pride in and own the quality of work at all times.
* Provide cover and be rostered to other administration roles to support planned and unplanned leave as required.

* Demonstrated competence in administrative skills and general office procedures.
* Demonstrated excellent customer service, communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency with computers and data entry; accurate keyboard skills.
* Ability to work proficiently during high demand and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to work unsupervised with excellent time management.
* Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality regarding hospital matters for patients and staff.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in patient administration systems such as ARIA, iPM and CAP.
