Your role will be to deliver exceptional service, facilitate early intervention, and provide face-to-face support to workers, employers, and treating health practitioners.
* Facilitate regular visits with injured workers, employers, and treating health practitioners to empower them to participate in the return to work process and achieve early returns to work;
* Educate stakeholders on the return to work process;
* Attend medical reviews to promote implementation of strategies and early intervention;
* Monitor medical and like cost management strategies on claims to ensure cost-effectiveness;
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency across portfolios and produce return to work outcomes;
* Assist and educate employers and workers in completing documentation as required, explaining technical elements of the act in simple language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating face-to-face interactions to promote engagement and participation;
- Educating stakeholders on the return to work process;
- Attending medical reviews and promoting strategic interventions;
- Monitoring claim-related costs and implementing cost-effective solutions;
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive consistency and results;
- Providing guidance and support to employers and workers on documentation completion.
Qualifications: Required skills include minimum 1 year of high-risk claims management experience, demonstrated expertise in strategic claims management, strong technical skills, customer service focus, and workers compensation claim handling experience.
Preferred Qualifications: A background in health or industry-related fields would be advantageous. Experience in coaching and mentoring staff would also be beneficial.
