**About the Opportunity**
Reporting to the Head of Quality & Risk this role is responsible for supporting and contributing to the effective development and implementation of quality, risk and compliance frameworks, systems and processes to maintain the integrity of the organisation. The role works collaboratively across the organisation to support quality service outcomes for all its clients across Victoria.
Duties of this role may include but are not limited to the following:
Quality & Risk Management:
- Support the ongoing maintenance, development, improvement and implementation of MCM's Quality Improvement and Risk Management systems and processes
- Support, train and facilitate MCM staff in the development of skills in undertaking, recording and evaluating of quality activities, reviews, projects and procedures
Coordination and support of external audit, accreditation and reviews, such as:
Human Services Standards:
- ISO 9001: 2015
- National Healthcare Standards
- Early Childhood Intervention Standards
- Education Standards
- NDIS
Assurance Activities:
- Contribute to the development of tools and resources to support quality assurance activities
- Conduct internal audits and reviews, complete reports, and record and track audits / reviews
- Contribute to the development of tools and resources to support auditing teams to undertake audits and compliance assessments as part of core business activity.
- Conduct and support investigations or case reviews in response to significant incidents, events or complaints
Systems Management:
- Facilitate and support the continual review, improvement, implementation, maintenance and alignment of MCM's Policy and Procedure Framework
- Support maintenance and administration of RiskMan for the documentation of incidents, complaints & feedback, risks, quality activities, privacy requests
Reporting, Administration and Communication:
- Support the communication and sharing of knowledge and information about quality and risk across all MCM teams
- Provide administrative support to quality projects, working groups and committees

**About you**
**Qualifications / Experience**:
- Qualification in health, community or relevant discipline or 5 years of relevant experience
**Essential**:
- Demonstrated experience in the management and development of quality and risk management systems, preferably within a multidisciplinary health and human services environment or relevant health discipline
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation and accreditation standards in a health / human services environment
- Strong project management experience with capacity to develop and implement clear project plans and deliver quality outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate with a range of audiences, including the provision of one to one or group training
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple priorities and adapt to be able to participate in a variety of project deliverables
**Desirable**:
- Experience in use of RiskMan or similar database / software
- Training or knowledge in Lean principles, or similar
- Experience working in a Community Services / Not for Profit Organisation
