Director of Agribusiness – Regional
Opteon is expanding its Agribusiness division and is recruiting Directors to lead state‐level operations across Australia.
Positions available:
- Director Agribusiness – NSW/QLD
- Director Agribusiness – WA/SA
- Director Agribusiness – VIC/TAS
The Director Agribusiness is accountable for driving the operational performance of their team while fostering a high‐performing, engaged culture. This role provides leadership, mentorship, and ongoing support to a team of Valuers, ensuring clear communication and strong team alignment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and embed organisational change initiatives, ensuring processes are consistently applied and optimised.
- Proactively manage performance, including regular monitoring and reporting across key metrics such as turnaround times, quality, queries, quoting, financial outcomes, and work‐in‐progress.
- Identify improvement opportunities, implement performance enhancement strategies, and drive continuous operational excellence to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Certified Practicing Valuer (essential).
- Minimum 5 years' experience specialising in Agribusiness valuations (essential).
- Proven experience as a panel valuer or in a similar industry role.
- Associate membership with the Australian Property Institute.
