We are now seeking an experienced and values‑driven Senior Residential Admissions & Finance Officer to join our Residential Services team.
About The Role
In this pivotal role, you will lead the coordination of Residential Aged Care admissions across our organisation, ensuring a smooth, person‑centred, and compliant process for residents and families. You will support operational workflows, maintain accurate admission documentation, and contribute to occupancy management and financial integrity across our Residential Aged Care Communities.
This role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, communicates with empathy, and is confident navigating the complexities of aged care legislation, fee structures, and admission processes.
What You’ll Do
Support residents and families through the aged care admissions processProvide clear, timely and respectful information to consumers and representativesEnsure compliance with Aged Care legislation, funding requirements and organisational policiesMaintain accurate workflows, documentation and occupancy managementSupport the Coordinator – Financial Aged Care with operational processesContribute to monthly reconciliations, financial documentation and reportingAct as a knowledgeable point of contact for staff, residents, families and external stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate admission processes and documentationEnsure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and My Aged Care pathwaysSupport families with eligibility checks, agreements and fee explanationsManage waitlists, vacancy tracking and timely allocation of bedsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders (clinical leads, Social Work, ACAS/ACAT, Finance)Provide guidance and coaching to Admissions & Finance Officers
Essential
Skills & Experience
Certificate IV or higher in Health Administration, Business, Aged Care, or equivalent experienceKnowledge of:Aged Care Quality StandardsMy Aged Care, ACAS/ACAT processesPrivacy, consent, and records‑management obligationsExperience managing end‑to‑end residential admissionsAbility to explain complex fee structures clearly and empatheticallyStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsExperience with bed management, waitlists and high‑volume workflowsProficiency with admissions/clinical administration systems and Microsoft 365
