About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP EAM Architect with strong Plant Maintenance (PM) expertise to lead solution design and delivery across a complex SAP landscape.
This is a senior functional role requiring hands‑on SAP PM knowledge combined with strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and delivery leadership. You will play a key role in shaping SAP EAM solutions that meet business requirements across asset, maintenance, and service operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance (PM) solution design and delivery across end‑to‑end project lifecycles
Act as the functional lead for the SAP PM stream, including configuration, design decisions, and solution governance
Conduct fit‑gap analysis and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and process architects
Design and implement SAP EAM solutions, including customisation aligned to business requirements
Apply deep understanding of SAP PM data structures and data flows
Identify solution gaps and design pragmatic options to meet operational needs
Drive resolution of defects and issues through strong problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement
Deliver high‑profile outcomes to tight timelines within a complex program environment
Contribute positively to a collaborative, team‑oriented delivery culture
The Successful Candidate
You will be a senior SAP functional specialist with a strong track record in EAM/PM delivery.
Required experience and skills include:
Extensive SAP implementation experience, including at least four full end‑to‑end project lifecycles
Proven experience leading the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) stream
Deep functional expertise in SAP PM / EAM, with general knowledge of other SAP modules
Strong experience running fit‑gap workshops and engaging business stakeholders
Hands‑on SAP EAM configuration and customisation experience
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong stakeholder management and presentation capability
Ability to work autonomously, manage own workload, and escalate risks appropriately
Desirable Experience
Background working for a professional services or consulting organisation
Experience in team leadership or project leadership roles
Strong client‑facing capability and relationship‑building skills
Ambition to continue developing as a senior functional or solution architect
