Operations Manager – Ringwood, UDP
Location: Ringwood
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm with flexibility.
Role Overview
As Operations Manager, you will oversee all regional activities, expand our client base and drive business growth. You will lead a dynamic team, ensure high‑performance delivery and embed safety and profitability across your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead regional operations, expanding client base and delivering business development.
* Motivate and manage a high‑performance team, ensuring training and skill capability.
* Implement safety communications, toolbox talks and contract methodology.
* Embed best practice, manage ESG activities and drive productivity for financial targets.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally with commercial & finance teams, reviewing cost and commercial reports.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality & environmental policies.
Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence.
* Experience in Traffic Management, Construction, Utilities or similar industry.
* Experience leading a team within an operational environment.
* Strong verbal & written communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
* Numeracy skills to manage budgets and bid costings.
* Local knowledge of construction and maintenance market.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and business management systems.

* TTME qualification.
* Lantra Sector Scheme qualifications.
* IOSH Managing Safely / SSSTS / SMSTS or equivalent.
* Other formal commercial or business management qualifications.
