We are seeking female support workers to assist a 53-year-old participant in Burpengary who is recovering from a stroke. The participant has requested a female worker who speaks clear English for effective communication and comfort.
About the Role:
This role involves providing personal care, manual handling, and community access support. You will be assisting the participant to maintain independence, dignity, and engagement in daily activities.
Shift Availability:
* Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and/or Saturdays
* Must be available for at least two of these days per week
* 4-hour shifts
Essential Requirements (Please only apply if you have ALL of the following):
* Minimum Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support
* Current Driver’s License and fully insured, reliable vehicle
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
* Manual Handling Certificate
* Previous experience supporting participants who have had a stroke
