Painter
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various painting tasks to ensure our facilities are well-maintained and look their best.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
* To perform all aspects of patching and painting duties.
* To anticipate and respond promptly to guests' needs and requests.
* To undertake tasks in accordance with established Work Request Systems, Preventative Maintenance Programs, and verbal instructions from supervisors/managers.
* To work collaboratively with other members of the maintenance team and assume responsibility for assigned work and tasks.
* To acquire knowledge necessary to complete trade job requirements related to mentioned systems.
* To perform all necessary work and assume responsibility for work directly related to individual's trade qualifications.
* To respond promptly and effectively to inter-departmental or guest requests concerning defects, repairs, and general assistance.
* To maintain self-appearance in accordance with hotel grooming standards.
* To maintain harmonious relationships with other service team members.
* To comply with all hotel operational policies and procedures.
* To maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* To have full knowledge of and practice hotel-established occupational health and safety guidelines (OH&S).
* To ensure protection and maintenance of operating equipment.
* To complete assigned opening and closing duties.
* To provide support to other departments or outlets when required.
* To attend scheduled meetings.
* To perform any additional duties directed by supervisors/managers.
Requirements

* A strong background in painting and decorating.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
