The Program Leader Financial Reporting & Analysis leads the organisation's financial reporting function, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with accounting standards and legislation. The role oversees grant management, asset accounting, reserves, monthly reporting, and quarterly budget reviews. It ensures timely, accurate financial reports, monitors budget performance, and delivers analysis to support decision-making. The position maintains strong internal controls, safeguards data integrity, and collaborates with stakeholders to manage financial resources effectively. It also drives continuous improvement, enhancing processes and reporting capability to boost efficiency, productivity, and long-term financial sustainability while aligning financial practices with organisational objectives and strategic goals.
CPA/CA qualified finance professional with strong technical accounting, reporting and compliance expertise. Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling, with knowledge of grants, assets, reserves, and chart of accounts. Experienced in stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and team leadership. Proficient in financial systems and Excel, with a focus on process improvement, accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement, ideally within local government frameworks.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $114,375 gross per annum
+ 12% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
