What you'll do
Analysis, design and development of business-critical Trading Systems.
Taking projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release.
Optimise systems to improve performance and latency.
Collaborate with Technologists, Traders and Quantitative Analysts to achieve optimal outcomes.
Continuously improve the capability and reliability of the systems, using technology, automation and optimisation.
Be committed to innovation with a strong interest in learning and working with new technologies.
Meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline.
A track record / knowledge / interest in trading, risk, quantitative or trading systems development is critical, ideally within Options Trading.
Exceptional C# development skills with extensive knowledge of: design, profiling, OO, multi-threading and performance with a specific focus on back-end development.
Experience in Microservices and Cloud Technologies (Preferably Azure Service Fabric, Microsoft Orleans, Envoy Proxy, gRPC, Protobuf, React JS, Docker, Kubernetes, Octopus Deploy and ELK Stack)
Experience in WPF
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a thorough understanding of the full software development life-cycle.
Ideally with solid experience in an agile environment.
A knowledge of, or experience in trading, derivatives, risk, pricing and Greeks will be highly regarded.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with traders, quantitative analysts, and other software developers.
