The
Employment Contracts and Compliance Team Lead
role is a fixed term contract for a period of up to 12 months and may become permanent based on business requirements. You'll provide workflow oversight to a small team and ensure accurate and compliant preparation of Employment Contracts (EA and Award based). Day to day you'll:
* Partner with stakeholders across HR/IR and the broader operational business
* Advise on end to end employment contract processes including pre-employment checks and visa processes
* Preparation complex employment contract
* Assess and manage changes to existing employment contracts including preparation of variations
* Working with IR to validate interpretation of EA and Award information
* Incorporate contract clause updates for capture in the ELMO (HR Onboard) system
* Providing various reports and metrics relating to contract generation
The ideal candidate will bring experience gained in an HR role where you have held end to end responsibility for contract generation. You'll need to leverage your HR generalist skills to operate as a specialist in the contracts space. Candidates should demonstrate:
* Skills in leading a small team with a collaborative approach
* Experience with EAs and Award based contracts including interpretation and application
* Stakeholder engagement skills with a responsive and service orientated approach
* Strong process management skills and ability to work through volume, triaging and managing urgent/priority contract requests
* Strong systems skills and past experience with ELMO (HR Onboard) or similar and MS Suite (Excel)
* High levels of attention to detail
* Employment contract review and oversight skills
* Reporting capability
