Support Coordination Team Leader
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized individual to lead a team in our Specialist Services department. This full-time permanent position is crucial within the organization and involves responsibility for leading a team, while carrying a reduced caseload.
About the Role
This role requires a demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS and its impact on participants. The successful candidate will have experience with Support Coordination and a thorough understanding of the NDIS. They will also have previous leadership experience involving staff supervision and a strong track record of delivering high-quality services to participants.
Key Responsibilities
* To lead a team of Support Coordinators and provide mentorship and guidance to ensure they deliver the highest possible quality service to our participants.
* To promote a positive and supportive team culture and foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including families, service providers, health professionals, and planners.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS and its implications for participants.
* Experience with Support Coordination and a thorough understanding of the NDIS.
* Previous leadership experience involving staff supervision.
* Previous experience in community services, disability employment services, mental health services, or similar.
* High-level interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain relationships within a team, with participants, across service providers, and with various stakeholders.
