Offer description

This role will allow you to develop your career with an industry leader that can offer genuine growth.

Your new company

This company has a history of success and growth on repeat. With more than 3 decades of operations, this client has carved out a substantial niche in their market and continued to improve their business, their process, their builds and their customer outcomes as they've grown, with one achievement complementing the next. Being the best at what you do affords some opportunities other companies don't have and those benefits impact all levels of employees across the business. With proven success in their product and process, this developer client has a wealth of land already purchased and undergoing planning and approvals. Meaning the pipeline of work already secured is almost unprecedented. Having this sort of job security in this market is rare, but it offers those within the business to excel as the company continues to improve and refine its delivery.

Your new role

Your role will see you work as part of a small team of estimators to provide project estimates. You will have excellent communication which will allow you to engage with stakeholders and subcontractors as required. You will undertake quote analysis and price negotiations, assist in defining project budgets as well as creating and reviewing specifications and scope of works. You will define project budgets and continually strive to improve pricing budgets and subcontractor relationships.

In this role you will provide detailed estimates to ensure a refined and manageable budget is in place. You will be an essential part of the team in delivering luxury residential options to the market that continually go beyond what anyone else is currently supplying. This level of quality and productivity is a testament to the quality of the people this business employs, and they stay for the culture, the support and the opportunity that the business is in turn able to offer.

What you'll need to succeed

To be a part of this success, you will need previous experience as a residential estimator. Your ability to learn and communicate is essential to your ongoing success, and we are looking for the right fit as much as we are looking for the right skills and qualifications. Ideally, you will have worked in the high-volume housing market and experience in large townhouse developments is highly regarded. It is expected that you will have previously used Databuild in your role as it is essential software within the business. Use of Onsite Companion is also advantageous as this software is also used across the business and is integrated with all areas to ensure immediate updates and allows instant communication across all teams.

This is an immediate need and in looking for the right type of person for the role, your commitment to the recruitment process will be well-received and reciprocated with fast and honest feedback.
