About The Role
Working within an established local and national academic team, the Lecturer in Occupational Therapy (Ballarat) will make significant contributions to the development and implementation of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Australian Catholic University. Substantial work has been undertaken over the last 10 years in an effort to decolonise the curriculum, and cultural supports are available within the school, faculty and university for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants. ACU has a strong focus on community engagement and working with local communities. The Lecturer will work closely with the campus Course Coordinator, the Deputy Head of School, Head of Discipline and other staff as required ensuring the Occupational Therapy course implementation is well managed.

Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
* Undertake community engagement and work with local communities to support student learning experiences.
* Participate in teaching and research or follow a teaching‐focused academic career pathway.
* Work full time (part time considered); continuing role at the Ballarat campus.

* Total remuneration valued to $142,635 – $168,287 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $120,529 – $142,305 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

* Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on commencement date.
