As Project Manager for the MITIGATE program, you will lead a national initiative integrating advanced genomic and transcriptomic diagnostics to enhance infectious disease detection and management. You will coordinate research activities across multiple hospital sites and research labs, oversee project timelines, stakeholder communication, and laboratory integration, with the goal of improving healthcare outcomes and developing expertise in clinical research management and translational science. 
Your responsibilities 
Coordinate Multi-Site Research: 
Manage operational activities, timelines, and deliverables across multiple clinical and research sites to ensure smooth project execution. 
Drive Stakeholder Engagement: 
Facilitate governance meetings, lead communication with stakeholders, and oversee reporting on progress and milestones. 
Integrate Laboratory Workflows: 
Oversee sample processing, workflow design, and quality control for metagenomic and transcriptomic analysis across sites. 
Manage Regulatory Compliance: 
Liaise with university and hospital research offices for ethics submissions, contracts, and site governance processes. 
You may be a great fit if 
You are a skilled project manager with a strong background in biomedical sciences or public health, possess excellent stakeholder management skills, and have a deep understanding of laboratory workflows in molecular biology or genomics. 
You may also 
Hold a tertiary qualification in biomedical sciences, public health, or a related field. 
Have demonstrated experience in managing clinical research or large-scale multi-site projects. 
Possess strong understanding of laboratory workflows in molecular biology or genomics. 
Excel in stakeholder management with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. 
Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
