Accounting Professional Required
We seek a skilled accounting professional to manage daily financial tasks and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
* Process payroll from start to finish, including verification of employee information and payment processing
* Prepare and lodge BAS, Payroll Tax, and superannuation reports on time to meet regulatory requirements
* Manage multiple entity records to ensure up-to-date accuracy
* Support HR functions as needed, providing administrative assistance for employee-related matters
* Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
* Process transactions, including EFTPOS credit card payments, ensuring timely and accurate settlement
* Collect outstanding debts and maintain accurate debtor control
* Prepare monthly management reports to inform business decisions
* Analyze product costing data to optimize pricing strategies
* Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
* Respond to customer inquiries and internal/external queries promptly and professionally
* Verify and process credit applications in accordance with company policies
* Maintain accurate debtor and creditor records
* Provide general administrative support to the business
* Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger accurately
* Reconcile supplier statements on a regular basis
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role or relevant tertiary qualifications with 3 years' experience
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders
* Ability to analyze situations logically and make informed decisions
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
* Experience with Greentree ERP software is an advantage
* Able to work autonomously, under pressure, and as part of a team
* High level of attention to detail
* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing business needs
