The Role
We are seeking a confident, hands‑on Human Resources Manager to work in partnership with our leadership team across departments, where you will play an integral part in all Human Resources related matters in a hands‑on role including industrial relations, employee relations, employee engagement, recruiting senior roles and on‑boarding of staff. As a leader of our HR team, you will work closely with the operations team to ensure operational excellence, continued improvement, and the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance are maintained.
Responsibilities
* Change Management and continual improvement with ongoing upskilling training of Operations Team and support the development of training programs
* Manage employee relations, including dispute resolution and performance management
* Oversee recruitment, and onboarding for personnel
* Providing of HR generalist support and ad hoc projects as required
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation, enterprise agreements and company policies
* Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, diversity and inclusion
* Maintain accurate HR records and reporting for governance and audit purposes
* Advising on the Fair Work Act, modern awards and other relevant workplace legislation.
* The development, implementation and review of HR policies and procedures.
* Consultation with management regarding EBA negotiations
Qualifications
* 2 + years of relevant experience
* Degree or diploma qualification in Business, Human Resources, or Industrial Relations will be highly regarded
* Strong communication skills, stakeholder management and relationship building skills
* Experience working in food manufacturing will be highly regarded
* Experience in Award and Agreement interpretation and advice to management
* Passion and drive with an emphasis on personal growth
* Decision making and problem‑solving skills
* Enjoy being challenged and willing to work outside the confines of a traditional work environment
* Lead the full HR function with genuine strategic influence & autonomy

Compensation
