About the role Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for heavy machinery? A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a motivated Territory Manager/Sales Consultant to join a leading Australian family-owned equipment dealer. Based in Perth, you will take ownership of a dedicated territory, focusing on the sale of heavy earthmoving equipment to the construction and mining sectors. You will be joining a team that operates with integrity and persistence, ensuring customers receive the best solutions in the market. Role responsibilities include: Achieving and exceeding sales budgets for both new and used heavy equipment. Identifying and securing new business through proactive cold calling and fleet expansion opportunities. Managing the end-to-end sales process, from initial inquiry through to machine delivery. Facilitating on-site product demonstrations to showcase equipment capabilities. Maintaining and strengthening long-term relationships with existing and past clients. Providing regular reports on market trends, competitor activity, and strategic objectives. Required skills and experience: Proven success in capital equipment sales within the earthmoving or mining industries. Demonstrated ability to build a territory and win new business through cold calling. Strong technical understanding of heavy machinery, particularly excavators. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a professional approach. Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office for reporting and administration. A current, full Australian driver's licence. This role offers a competitive base salary of $100,000 - $140,000 plus superannuation, with an uncapped commission structure where high performers can exceed $250,000 OTE. A company vehicle or allowance and fuel card are also provided.
