About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a Research Officer to join the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN). Working with the Director of Medical Research, you will play a key role in building research capability, supporting clinical trials, and fostering collaborations with external partners to improve health outcomes for rural South Australians.

This role will see you:

* Assist with research governance, ethics processes, and grant writing.
* Collaborate with clinicians, students, and external researchers to support impactful projects.
* Provide research training, mentoring, and consultancy services to staff and students.
* Support data collection, analysis, and reporting to strengthen research outcomes.
* Contribute to the growth of a research culture across EFNLHN.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual with:

* Demonstrated experience in health or clinical research, including data management and compliance with research standards.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to build partnerships with clinicians, researchers, and external organisations.
* A track record of contributing to publications, grant applications, or research governance processes.
* A tertiary qualification relevant to health or clinical research and/or postgraduate study (e.g., PhD) will be highly regarded.
