The Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation is a Recognised Aboriginal Native Title Representative Body representing the Kokatha People. The Corporation's vision is to improve the lives of the Kokatha People, with one focus being to drive Economic Prosperity.
The Kokatha Traditional Owners' Native Title area includes areas with current and future mining operations. With a strong focus on investing in their sustainable future, they are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join in a permanent capacity.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the CEO, as the Strategic Partnerships Manager you will be a critical resource to key strategies within the organisation. With the position objective to create an economically sustained future for the Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation, you will identify and analyse business opportunities to create strong strategic partnerships.
When successful, you will review and analyse current activities and evaluate possible opportunities to create business strategies to build stakeholder relationships resulting in long term commercial growth.
You will frequently travel to rural regions of South Australia to build business partnerships and promote engagement for Kokatha. As well as travel opportunities, this position also includes a vehicle for personal and professional use.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Experience in a business development position
- Sound understanding and practice of business analysis and review, and ability interpret data to create future business strategies
- Impeccable stakeholder relationship management skills with the ability to seek out business opportunities
- Proven ability to formulate tender submissions, and business proposals for potential opportunities
- Experience providing regular reporting updates to the CEO and commercial and strategy updates
- A professional drive to achieve KPI goals, with high levels of self-motivation
- Strong experience in a KPI based performance setting
- Confidence in developing a brand leading to future recognition and sustainable financial growth
You must have a valid Driver's Licence to be eligible for this position.
