The Senior Site Manager on this $120m high rise project in Southport will be able to demonstrate their ability to:
- Supervise and oversee the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client's specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
- Liaise with the client, other construction professionals and sometimes members of the public
- Coordinate and supervise construction workers
- Make safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety
- Check and prepare site reports, designs and drawings
- Maintain quality control procedures
- Find ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
- Assess and minimise risk
- Write reports and keep on top of paperwork
- Help to negotiate contracts and secure permits and licences

Attributes
- Ideally a Construction Management degree or equivalent tertiary qualification
- Demonstrated experience working as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager for an established construction company
- High rise project experience is extremely attractive
- Ability to manage a team of Contract Administrators and supervisors
- Commercially astute
- Ability to effectively manage Industrial Relations

Their latest project is a $120m high rise residential project in Southport and it is this project you will lead from the early works phase through to completion. They are well known for having a culture which allows people to use their own initiative and a self‐motivated person will definitely enjoy things here and flourish. The project team consists of a Senior Project Manager, Structures and Finishes Foreman, HSE Advisor, Project and Site Engineers and CA's.
