The Role An opportunity has become available for several Pharmacists to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will * Independently apply professional knowledge and skills to deliver basic clinical pharmacy services * Provide input into the development of medication management policies and procedures * Actively participate in clinical team and inpatient unit (IPU) rounds on a rotational basis across all specialties * Develop clinical knowledge through active participation in ongoing education within the profession About you To be successful in this position you will require: * Tertiary degree in Pharmacy * AHPRA Registration * Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B * Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required * Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed * Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits * Flexible work options * Career Development * Salary Packaging * Modern Facilities * Diverse Work Culture * Research Opportunities * 12.75% super * 17.5% leave loading Salary * Temporary full time and temporary part time (several positions, up to 12 months, hrs negotiable) * Base salary ranging from $3030 - $4592.80 per fortnight / $39.87 - $60.43 per hour About Us The Pharmacy Service provides medication management services across the Gold Coast HHS, through inpatient units, outpatient clinics and in all facilities where medicines are being utilised for the care of patients. This includes Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Hospital, Tugun Satellite Health Centre, Varsity Lakes Day Hospital, Southport and Robina Health Precincts, Numinbah Correctional Centre, Interim care facilities, as well as various community clinics and dental services.
