Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Job Description
A Heavy Vehicle Mechanic position has arisen at our Griffith facility.
* Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, and assemble vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and in line with industry standards.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks according to manufacturer's guidelines to prolong the lifespan of company assets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Attend breakdowns and carry out field-related repairs efficiently and effectively.
2. Communicate safety or maintenance issues effectively to relevant stakeholders.
3. Ensure adherence to Work, Health & Safety requirements at all times.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Experience in vehicle service and maintenance is highly desirable; on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Must adhere to safety standards and company policies.
* Sound verbal and written communication skills are essential.
* Team environment experience with daily maintenance schedules is necessary.
* Proactive and adaptable individuals with a passion for achieving outcomes are preferred.
* MR or HR driver's license is advantageous but not mandatory.
