A Personal Care Assistant is a engaging and meaningful role where you will make a positive impact in the lives of others. Your role is responsible for the planning and implementation of the day-to-day care of residents, and to work in accordance with the Commonwealth's Standards for Residential Aged Care Services, Commonwealth and State legislation and policies, philosophy and objectives of Princes Court Homes.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Providing quality support to residents with their activities of daily living in the areas of personal hygiene, grooming, oral hygiene, continence management, mobility, food and fluids, maintenance of hearing aids, glasses, dentures and dental appliances, physiotherapy exercises, use of wheelchairs and other aids, while respecting their need for privacy at all times.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team and demonstrate team spirit
* Complete reporting and documentation based on PCL policies and procedures
* Deliver excellent customer service
* Interaction with residents, families and friends in a helpful and positive manner
What we look for:
* Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (or similar Certificate 3 or higher qualification)
* Previous experience in a personal care role in Aged Care (desirable but not essential)
* Current Police Check or NDIS Workers Screening
* Be available to work morning, afternoon and night shift
* The ability to demonstrate compassionate, kind & respectful interactions with residents & fellow staff
* A proactive approach to resident care and wellbeing.
* Pro-active and dedicated approach to deliver best practice care.
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters
* Previous experience in a personal care role in Aged Care (desirable but not essential)
