Role
We are seeking an experienced Draftsman with Advance Steel knowledge to join our team on a full‐time basis. Experience in Structural, Mechanical & Piping Fabrication Drawings is required.
Your Responsibilities
* Prepare design and shop detailed work with Advanced Steel.
* Work independently or as part of a team, directly with a fabrication workshop & client.
* Follow specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
* Work hours are above standard required for Full‐Time and are paid hours.
What we are looking for
* Proven drafting experience (fabrication / engineering background preferred).
* Experienced Advanced Steel user, with sound knowledge in Management Tools and Drawing Styles & Processes.
* Strong work ethic & ability to work unsupervised.
* High attention to detail, accuracy & confidentiality.
* Analytical, critical thinking & problem‐solving abilities.
* Ability to liaise with clients and suppliers in a professional manner.
* Minimum 3 years' experience working in a medium to large sized fabrication company.
* Trade background preferred but not essential.
* Hold a current Drivers Licence.
* Must hold relevant tickets – Working at Heights, Confined Space, White Card for site clearance.
* Current National Police check.
* Ability to pass a Pre‐Employment Medical & Drug & Alcohol Screen.
