Join Seymour Whyte on the Beerburrum to Nambour (B2N) Upgrade Project, a major civil infrastructure project being delivered as a joint venture with John Holland, focused on enhancing the rail transport network between Beerburrum and Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. Once complete, B2N will improve the North Coast Line, making travel faster and better connecting the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Brisbane.
Following enabling and early works, major construction works have commenced.
The main construction phase is expected to last around two to three years, with completion scheduled for late **** (subject to conditions).
What the Project Involves
Rail Duplication:The core of the project is the delivery of a new, dual-track rail line between Beerburrum and Nambour.
Infrastructure Upgrades:This will also involve associated infrastructure improvements, potentially including the construction of new stations and upgrading existing ones.
Community Benefits:The upgrade aims to improve public transport connectivity for the growing Sunshine Coast region and support the growing population by providing more travel options and diverting traffic.
About the roles:
Supporting and ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards on site.
Monitoring construction progress and ensure compliance against method statements and ITPs.
Managing daily field operations including team supervision, productivity tracking, cost control and estimating.
Overseeing procurement processes and subcontractor management, including claims verification and adherence to governance processes.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).
Knowledge of safety legislation, Australian Standards and industry codes.
The ability to produce a critical path network with up to 100 activities and prepare, monitor and update short-term production bar charts.
Knowledge of project scope management, including contractual change procedures and distribution of responsibilities among project stakeholders.
Strong planning, monitoring, and reporting capabilities to support effective project delivery.
Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver's Licence and have their own transport.
