The Executive Manager, Business Services is responsible for leading the delivery of business services to the region including planning; governance; infrastructure, fleet and equipment planning and management; financial and management accounting; human resource management; health and safety; and delivery of a wide range of business support services including general administrative support.

* Highly-developed leadership skills with demonstrated capabilities and experience in managing and coordinating the delivery of a wide range of complex, high quality business support services to support the delivery of operational emergency services.
* Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse, professional teams, in an environment of competing priorities and needs with limited resources.
* Success in the development and implementation of practical, efficient and effective governance arrangements in respect to a range of corporate support functions including asset, financial, human resource and health and safety management.
* Demonstrated highly developed communication, negotiation, consultation and collaboration skills and the proven ability to build productive, influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills including a demonstrated ability to interpret financial and trend/output/outcome performance data to drive performance improvement.
* Demonstrated capabilities and experience in implementing organisational change and service system reform in a complex environment, working effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Demonstrated commitment to implement practices which promote a fair and ethical workplace, employment equity, cultural diversity and occupational health and safety.
