1/ Signwriter
· Liaise with clients to interpret briefs, proposals, and design requirements, ensuring signage and graphics meet project specifications.
· Conceptualise, design, and produce high-quality signs and visual displays using industry-standard software, printing technology, and sign-making equipment.
· Prepare and finish surfaces, apply backgrounds, and create lettering and graphics using paints, stencils, decals, and other professional materials across diverse surfaces including metal, timber, glass, plastic, etc.
· Execute custom each project with attention to detail and brand consistency.
· Assemble, install, and maintain three-dimensional and on-site signage, ensuring durability, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
· Paint and finish signs and lettering using industry-standard paints, lacquers, varnishes, and other materials to ensure quality and longevity.
· Provide accurate estimates of materials, labour, and time to support efficient project planning and delivery.
· Adhere to safe work practices, including working at heights or on scaffolding when required.
General Requirements
· A relevant AQF Certificate III with at least two years of practical on-the-job training, or an AQF Certificate IV, plus at least 1 year of relevant experience; OR minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
· Strong knowledge of sign design, materials, and production techniques.
· Proficiency in industry-standard design software and sign-making equipment.
· Ability to interpret client briefs, manage projects, and ensure high-quality outcomes.

2/ Production Manager
· Develop, implement, and monitor production strategies, policies, and operational plans to ensure efficient manufacturing of printing and signage products, ensure Colemans’s printing projects run smoothly, efficiently, and meet client expectations.
· Manage to plan and schedule production activities, considering output quality and quantity, labour requirements, costs, and timelines.
· Oversee the operation of production equipment & machinery, including maintenance planning, operating schedules, supply of parts and tools.
· Monitor production output, costs, and efficiency, adjust processes or resources to optimise performance and minimise waste.
· Manage the purchase, installation, integration of new printing and finishing technology to enhance productivity, maintain Colemans’ competitive advantage.
· Ensure production documents, reports are accurate & up-to-date, supporting management decisions and performance tracking.
· Implement and monitor workplace health & safety procedures across all production areas, ensuring a safe and compliant environment.
· Lead, coach, and supervise production staff, fostering teamwork, professional development, and adherence to Colemans’ quality and operational standards.
· Liaise with other managers and departments regarding production progress, challenges, and resource requirements.
· Research and recommend improvements in production methods, workflow, and technology, implementing initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
General Requirements
· A relevant Bachelor Degree, plus at least 1-2 year of relevant management experience; OR minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
· Proven ability to plan, organise, and optimise production workflows efficiently.
· Experience in equipment management, process improvement, and team leadership.
· Commitment to workplace health and safety and continuous quality improvement.
· Graphic Design qualifications would be advantageous.
