Vics Food and Wine is seeking an exceptional Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at our Sunbury, VIC location. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist the General Manager in supervising and developing a high-performing team of hospitality professionals
2. Help coordinate the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant, including managing rosters, inventory, and financial reporting
3. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable experience
4. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive business growth and profitability
5. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes employee engagement and development
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
What We're Looking For
1. Proven experience in a similar Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager role within the hospitality industry
2. Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
3. Strong financial acumen and attention to detail
4. Ability to work effectively under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
