Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to fill the role of Livestock Sales Specialist. As a trusted advisor, you will build strong relationships with livestock clients across the region, driving business growth through expert guidance on sales, products, and services.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a deep understanding of livestock markets, trends, and seasonal factors. They will be able to assess livestock condition and value with accuracy, providing market insights and price expectations to clients.
About the Position
* Promote and sell Elders' range of livestock products and services to existing and potential clients
* Develop and maintain strong service-based relationships with clients
* Conduct on-farm livestock assessments and prepare sale listings
* Facilitate livestock sales through various channels
* Provide accurate market information and support clients in their purchasing decisions
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Previous experience in livestock handling or sales processing
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills
* The ability to assess livestock condition and value with accuracy
* A genuine passion for rural communities and the agriculture industry
* Ability to provide proof of Q-Fever vaccination or immunity
