We are seeking a highly experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics) to join our team in Tamworth, NSW.
Your Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
* Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
* Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
* Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment;
* Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
The Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
* 2+ years experience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft (or similar type, e.g. turboprop aircraft);
* Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical), (Structures) or (Avionics);
* Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components;
* Strong team player;
* Ability to follow supervisory direction;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
* Passion for safe work practices;
* Valid work visa;
* Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain);
* Current Australian Driver's licence.
