The Opportunity
Due to the continued growth of the Company, we have an exciting opportunity for a Storesperson to join the team in our workshop located at Gap Ridge in Karratha.
Our busy workshop is home to a team of highly experienced tradespeople, fostering a great team culture and an all-round supportive workplace environment. This role is pivotal to the smooth operation of our workshop, with potential for career development within a rapidly growing organisation.
You will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance Planner and Parts Controller with inventory and parts coordination, managing the movement and storage of workshop stock, and ensuring the stores area and workshop remain organised, clean, and hazard-free.
Responsibilities
* Assist with receipting, issuing, and stock control of parts and inventory to support servicing and repairs
* Complete local parts collections as required
* Reconcile consignment notes and purchase orders while maintaining accurate records
* Load and unload stock and allocate parts within storage areas in line with company guidelines
* Identify and investigate discrepancies between physical and recorded stock levels
* Support stocktaking activities and maintain workshop catalogues and supply registers
* Inspect incoming supplies to ensure correct quantity, quality, and specification
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop and stores area, proactively identifying hazards or defects
* Lead by example in line with company safety expectations and actively participate in hazard reporting and reduction
* Karratha Residents only
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar stores or inventory position
* Current WA Driver's Licence (HR preferred)
* Familiarity with procurement and inventory management systems
* Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement
* Ability to adhere to procedures and work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening in line with company policy
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar stores or inventory position
* Current WA Driver's Licence (HR preferred)
* Karratha Residents only
* Familiarity with procurement and inventory management systems
* Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement
