Day & Night Shift Operator - Manufacturing
We are seeking a Machine Operator to support our Manufacturing team based in Carole Park.
What you will need
* Previous experience in a quality assurance environment
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace
* Ability to use computers for the entry and retrieval of process data and machine operation
* Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
* Valid Forklift License
* All successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
* Flexible and open to work across rotation shift pattern / 4 on 4 off, with 2 x 12hr day shifts (6am-6pm) followed by 2 x 12hr night shifts (6pm-6am)
What the role involves
* Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines
* Setting up and installing molds and other machine fixtures
* Setting grinding and cutting edges
* Carry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with Safety procedures as applicable
* Ensure process efficiencies are achieved and maintained
* Ensure production is in line with the specified production schedule
* Ensure product quality is in accordance with relevant specifications and that process checks are performed as required
* Actively participate in improvement projects
* Manual Handling tasks are performed as part of this role
* Be flexible and adaptable with a willingness to embrace shift work
* Complying with all WHS safety practices and procedures
