**About the Role**
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Administrative officer to support the administrative and billing functions, supporting the Neurosurgery Unit. The Neurosurgery Unit is a high functioning team dedicated to making a difference to the lives of patients in our care. We are committed to supporting the person in this role to develop your career as an Administrative officer with Victoria's largest public health service.
The Department of Neurosurgery at Monash consists of 12 Consultants, 8 Registrars and 7 Residents. We also work closely with Neuro-Interventional Radiologists, ENT surgeons, the Intensive Care Unit, Stroke Unit, Neurologists, Nursing and Allied Health staff.
**About You**
You are a dynamic, and enthusiastic Administrative officer within a similar organisation and you:
- possess strong customer service ethic, and a 'can do' attitude.
- have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with people at all levels
- are motivated, compassionate and able to work collaboratively.
**What You Need**:
- Minimum of 3 years working in the health industry
- Experience with Private Patient Billing
- Relevant qualification would be highly regarded
