The Opportunity
This role is part of our Superannuation Consultant team, working nationally at university campuses and in dedicated member spaces. As a member-facing role, it's based onsite in Perth, with a focus on promoting our products and superannuation services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet with existing and prospective members in person and virtually to provide factual and general advice about our products and superannuation.
* Identify members who require personal advice and refer them through to our Advice channels.
* Present at in-person and virtual member and employer seminars on topics related to our services and superannuation.
* Promote the benefits of our online capabilities, such as our website and Member Online.
* Foster relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance our presence on campus.
* Mainly work from university campuses while maintaining strong connections with our staff and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Clear communication skills with good verbal and written abilities to interact with all levels of university staff.
* Strong knowledge of superannuation, including defined benefit funds.
* Experience dealing with general superannuation enquiries, perhaps in a previous advice capacity or relationship account manager position.
* Understanding of General Advice, its importance, and the ability to recognize when to refer members for further personal advice.
* RG 146 compliance with the DFP or higher preferred.
