The Role and Responsibilities
* Transporting shotcrete product from the surface batch plant to the UG mine working area, requiring reliable transportation skills.
* Meeting shift and swing KPIs is essential for success in this role.
* Adhering to established safety protocols and conducting thorough risk assessments is crucial for a safe working environment.
* Operating machinery on the contract, including Sandvik Cablebolters, Normet Shotcreters & Agis, Elphinstone Agi, Volvo Loaders, and light vehicles, requires adaptability and a willingness to learn.
Requirements
* Hold an unrestricted driver's license, capable of driving manual vehicles.
* Previous experience operating earthmoving machinery or driving trucks is highly valued.
* Operating concrete trucks or Agis is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key.
* Maintain a high level of reliability, punctuality, and trustworthiness.
* Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Must be able to obtain a current National Police Clearance and pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
