YOUR ROLE
* Providing FULL-SPECTRUM patent services to clients in the chemical/pharmaceutical sectors including drafting/prosecuting applications, portfolio management, opposition/opinions and liaising with IP lawyers to provide input in relation to commercial/litigation matters.
* Contributing to/sharing your ideas with the Innovation Team to add positive value to clients, your team, and firm.
* Partaking in business development initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE
* We are interested in hearing from you if you: are EITHER a registered patent attorney in Australia/NZ OR a trainee patent attorney/technical assistant (OR overseas qualified attorney) nearing qualification (or re-qualification).
* have minimum 1 year practical patents experience OR preferably MORE with a reputable patent attorney firm/law firm/in-house in Australia/overseas.
* are degree qualified in CHEMISTRY/PHARMACOLOGY+ preferably higher qualifications (eg PHD/Masters in Organic Chemistry) and/or industry/research experience in this niche.
* have solid experience in drafting/prosecuting chemical patents.
