Senior Electrician

APAC FM have been engaged to source an experienced Senior Electrician to join a leading facilities management provider delivering technical services across multiple commercial sites in Darwin.
This role offers a hands-on opportunity, and potential scope in time in overseeing a small team of electricians and subcontractors while ensuring high-quality service delivery across electrical systems and building infrastructure.

The Opportunity:
You will take responsibility for day-to-day electrical service delivery across multiple commercial facilities, ensuring assets are maintained safely, efficiently and to a high technical standard.
Working alongside an experienced management team, you will coordinate preventative maintenance programs, manage reactive works.
What’s On Offer:
• $60 per hour + 12% Super
• $18,000 Vehicle Allowance or company vehicle (Brand new)
• $10,000 Electrical Nominee Allowance if you can be/actually able to obtain the electrical nominee license

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support a team of electricians and subcontractors
• Oversee electrical and lighting systems maintenance across multiple facilities
• Carry out installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
• Diagnose faults and repair components including motors, controls, switches, wiring and associated systems
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and operating safely
• Review maintenance records and develop proactive service schedules
• Deliver reliable and professional service to site stakeholders
What You’ll Need:
• Fully qualified Electrician with a current NT Electrical Licence
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Experience in commercial facilities maintenance, building services or hard FM highly regarded
• Strong troubleshooting and technical diagnostic skills
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate subcontractor
