Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced educator to join our team in delivering quality learning, teaching, and assessment to a wide range of clients.
TAFE Queensland is the largest and most experienced Vocational Education and Training provider in the state, with over 140 years of experience in delivering practical and industry-relevant training.
In this role, you will contribute to the development and delivery of vocational education and training programs, including outcome-focused VET programs, linking with industry, schools, universities, community, and other TAFE and VET providers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Displaying teaching competence and a commitment to a student-centred approach
* Leading and managing effective teaching and learning within classroom, workplace, simulated, and online learning environments
* Utilising flexible, blended, and inclusive learning techniques, options, and products that are responsive to various student cohorts
* Designing, developing, and implementing assessment tools and processes that meet industry skills standards
The Ideal Candidate:
* Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed
* AUR31120 - Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
* Possession of one of the following training and assessment credentials: TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
This is a temporary full-time opportunity with possible extension. The position will be based primarily at Ashmore campus, however, you may be required to perform work at other campuses.
