The Housing Industry Association (HIA) is Australia's peak private sector building industry body, representing builders, trade contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and related industry participants. As a national industry organisation, HIA's primary role is to represent and advance the interests of its members.
**The role**
The Events and Partnership Manager develops and delivers a profitable events and partnership program for HIA's Qld region.
**Key responsibilities for this role include**:
- Coordinate and promote HIA's event programs in Qld; 
- Secure event partnership revenue and manages partner relationships; 
- Develop budgets and takes responsibility for meeting events and partnership targets; 
- Manage, promote, and ensure the profitability of HIA's Event Program in Qld and in line with budgetary targets; 
- Support and provide guidance to the Qld Event Coordinator; 
- Secure new partnership revenue to ensure a continued profitable events program and partnership revenue pipeline; 
- Develop a communications strategy with national marketing and communications team to ensure effective promotion of HIA Qld events; 
- Organise pre and post Award media and communications, including press, and other forms of medium to be negotiated (television and radio); 
- Manage, promote, and deliver HIA's Housing Awards, Kitchen and Bathroom Awards, and Building Woman Awards in Qld, including the coordination of entries, judging and event management; 
- Deliver partnership revenue budgets for Qld Publications and development of annual partnership and events budgets; 
- Provide ongoing financial management including maintaining accurate and reliable accounts receivable and payable details to enable monthly reporting.
